Our customer is a bicycle brand from the USA that is expanding to Europe and at the moment in the process of registering a German branch and opening an office.
We will therefore start the recruitment process and hire various people in different roles.
Until the exact office location is found, work will be done mostly remote and later change to a flexible hybrid model. Residence in Germany is necessary though.
Position Overview: The Head of European Operations will oversee all business functions within Europe, ensuring alignment with global strategies and the successful execution of regional initiatives. This leader will be responsible for driving the growth and operational efficiency in key markets such as Germanic and the Benelux markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of our E.U. operations, including sales, marketing, product development, and day-to-day operations.
Ensure alignment of E.U. strategies with global business goals.
Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and market penetration in the E.U.
Oversee budget management, P&L, and financial performance of the E.U. division.
Foster a strong company culture and ensure effective communication across the E.U. team.
Representing the E.U. region in global leadership meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the bicycle industry.
Strong understanding of different European markets, particularly DACH/GAS and Benelux.
Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and stakeholders.
